Cinema.... cinema.... cinema....

Of late, I've started seeing quite a lot of movies. But not many make a mark :)

Some of the films I watched recently are

Naalai - A good film for Richard... he has done it well... but the film as such is again a boring action film.... In Tamil films the concept of rowdyism has grown too much I feel.... Run, Ji, Sandakozhi, Naalai.....

Something something Unakkum Enakkum - It is a full length masala movie.... scene to scene, dialogue to dialogue, dance step to dance step an exact copy of Prabhudeva's telugu film :) but since I din't see the Telugu film first I enjoyed it.... but the film was more colourful and Jayam Ravi had acted well :) Somehow Trisha rarely impresses me... she's very monotonous... whether she comes in Saree/Chudi/modern dress I don't feel a difference in her...Richa was lovely and expressive... Tamil film really brings out the richness and grandeur with more finesse... Even the houses and village where the shooting took place are same... But with all this criticism, you will enjoy the film if you see it without seeing the Telugu film :) But at the end, it is Prabhudeva to whom you've to give the credit and not Raja :)

Uyir - One of the worst movies not because of the hot arguments going on that a lady should not be like this but for the film as such. All human relations are being shown in a bad light.... infact in the film Sangeetha loves and marries her husband... but after that gets interested in his brother... because of that she even tortures her own daughter.... I din't want to see it after 1 hour itself.... but then din't get sleep ... so had to watch it fully.... we concluded that it was one of the worst movies....

Though I din't like the film I am upset about all the hype about this film Uyir... which I feel is getting blown out of proportion. Surely this is not the first time, a movie as worse as this has been released in Tamil film history.

Vadivelu coming out openly and chiding it is unnecessary. Did Vadivelu or for that matter any film personality openly chide Vaali or Aasai?.... I feel it is more of a insecure feeling that makes these guys open up when these things happen.... If it is really their love for
culture.... they should come out with their opinions for both sexes!! Won't our culture get spoilt if a guy faults? Are ladies to solely hold the pillars of our culture?

Letz have same the scale of measurement for both guys and girls :) A properly brought up girl/guy will surely not do a bad thing... so when things like this happen, our importance should be given to the root cause of the problems...which is about where do this generations guys/girls get wrong..... instead of debating "Can girls ever do this?" Because of this debate, the actual problem will never get resolved, it is rather deviating the importance....

Me waiting eagerly to see some real good Tamil films... currently waiting for "Sillunu Oru Kaadhal"...... I adore both Jyothika and Surya.... and this film also stars cute Bhumika :)
